Description

The Women of Color STEM Virtual Conference was created to replace the live event during the Covid-19 pandemic. Over a 3-day period thousands of users participated in networking, live streams, chatrooms, peer-to-peer learning, career opportunities, post event communications, and follow-up with potential employers. A sponsor admin CMS was also created allowing them to customize their virtual space by selecting booth types, adding chat,  as well as uploading different types of media including videos, links, documents, and other resources. Custom event and user reports were provided throughout and after the event as well as video-on-demand for users that wanted to explore live streams they may missed. Site wide search was available covering live sessions, zoom breakout rooms, documents, and on-demand content. Browser and email notifications sent out alerts to notify attendee's of upcoming live events.
